About Us

Hi there!

We are Aaron and Lisa Anderson, and we are searching for a Birth Mom in the United States for a semi-open or open infant adoption. Help us make our dreams of becoming a family of three (or four!) a reality!

Aaron is 32 and Lisa is 29. We currently live in Perry, Iowa which is outside of Des Moines, our state capitol. Aaron is a Paramedic for the city of West Des Moines, and Lisa currently works as a Registered Nurse in a Critical Care Unit. We actually met working in the hospital when Lisa was a nurse in the E.R! We have been together for almost six years and got married in 2018, surrounded by our wonderful family and friends. On that day, we had many people pray with us for our future family, but we didn’t realize it would be some time until that prayer would be fulfilled. Lisa had cancer when she was just 11 months old, and because of treatments she has been unable to conceive on her own. We went through two years of infertility treatments, but each failure through that led us closer to realizing that we would rather grow our family through adoption.

When learning about the adoption process, there were many reasons that led us to pursue an independent adoption rather than going through an agency. We feel that we, and maybe you, are better off finding each other through our own means than having an organization that profits from the adoption connect us.

We have already hired our adoption attorney, and a social worker to help everyone through the process, and we really have you and your baby’s best interests at heart. We want you to feel 100% comfortable and at peace with your decision!

We look forward to getting to know you better, and when you are ready, feel free to contact us. Or, if you’re not ready to talk directly to us but want more information, you can reach out to our social worker Chrys! Our contact information can be found at the top of the page, or on our Contact Us tab.

Feel free to look around and get to know us as a couple better!

About Aaron From Lisa’s Eyes.

Never in a million years would I have thought that I could find a guy like Aaron. We are complete opposites, but I think that’s the point. We compliment each other! Aaron is 32 years old and he grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. He is definitely a Midwestern “nice guy”. He is polite, funny, and always looking out for the people that are around him. He has the biggest heart and is always looking for an opportunity to brighten someones day. In his career as a paramedic, he goes above and beyond to help the people in our community that are in need. He’s hard working, and extremely dedicated. His shifts are long, and the days are hard, but he always comes home ready to be a husband, and I know he will be the same as a Dad. I can just picture him already rolling around on the floor with kiddos, playing in the backyard, reading them stories, and doing goofy things to make them laugh. I can’t wait to see the joy in his eyes as he becomes a Dad

About Lisa from Aaron’s Eyes

Sometimes in life a person gets to meet “the one”. I am one of the lucky individuals that gets to say I have met that person. Lisa is a loving and caring woman who grew up with her family in Colorado. She’s a mountain girl through and through! I love seeing her excitement when we travel back to her hometown to visit her family and spend some time outdoors. After she finished a bachelor’s degree in nursing her career started in Des Moines, Iowa. She now works in the Critical Care Unit and takes care of some of the sickest patients in the hospital. Her dedication to her job is nothing compared to her dream of becoming a mother. Seeing her interact with our niece and all the kids of the family is simply beautiful. Lisa has a love for camping, sports, decorating, gardening, and traveling. Family is number one and she would do anything to give them the shirt off her back. There is no task that I can’t handle with her by my side. She will be a great mother to any child, and I hope someday I will see the look on her face when her dream of motherhood comes true. My love for her grows deeper every day we spend together.
